Hey guys it's been awhile since i last blogged. been busy lately eventhough it's after finals. trying to get my priorities straightened out but well hey, i got a nice topic this week for u guys to think about.
Have you ever felt that sometimes you need that someone to give you those self boosting words like , "hey you did a good job" or maybe "wow you look good today" or maybe "thanks for your support". have you ever realised that even a slight bit of compliment could mean so much to a person that they would actually feel more confident in their work and less moody about the things around them. for instance, you start off your morning by looking at your phone to see if you have any messages, sometimes, well actually most of the times, it's good to see a message saying "hey good morning! guess you must still be asleep. glad you're sleeping well like a pig. =P hope you have a great day! God bless" isn't it great to see these messages to start off your day with a bang? well i'd definitely love that. hahaha. well back to the story, you then go to work driving in your car, stuck in the jam along the way and you need to pick a friend up, you're an hour late to work and your friend's in that same boat because you are to pick him up, he waited for you patiently though he was offered help many times, he trusted you, you let him know that you're still caught up with a jam, knowing nothing else would've helped unless you can fly, would you like to receive an sms saying "you're always late, why can't you be early?" or would you like to receive an sms saying, "don't worry, i can wait" or maybe "don't rush, take your time and if you really can't make it, i can always take a cab or follow my mum =)" now wouldn't that sound a lil bit better and nice, then you reached your working place, you are already late, your friends are scolding you, you got to rush your work to present and then your boss yells at you for all the work that you have done so well but just because you were late, everything turned cold, everything turned different, just because of a bad impression, now that's not something you would like to go through, your boss's yelling i meant, and then you get off of work, hoping to have a good meal and hang about with your girlfriend. but that very day, she was just as you can say, not in the mood for everything else, whatever you say just didn't get her attention, the way she used to talk to you and the way she used to listen are just different, she tends to get irritated easilly, tends to think that you're overprotective about the guy friends she has, thinks that you're jealous about evrything, thinks that maybe you just worry too much, thinking that you think too far ahead, and most of all, not responding so so so much to your 'I love you's' anymore, now taht does seem like a bad day doesn't it, but well guys, don't get too upset for there's always a silver lining behind those dark clouds out there and gurls, guys think far because they really want something for you and want to be with you, to be able to put bread and butter on the table for you, yes it may be too early to think THAT far but hey, at least they're thinking for your future as in you both rather than taking that relationship as a come and go thing, at least he's serious about it, and well, yes he may be too concerned till he forgotten the future, but hey gurls, give the guy a break. he isn't made of steel, try giving him that assurance that everything would be fine, though you might not know what the future holds but sometimes giving people that confidence can do something for you both, it's like teaching a weak student how to be strong, you tell him everything will be fine and you tell him that he can do it, wouldn't it sound more assuring and yet more convincing and letting him know that you care and he will work and score for you and doing something for other people is the best spirit of all, the spirit of giving =) someone mentioned to me that sometimes guys feel insecure, well hey, i don't blame them, in my opinion, guys go for gurls and gurls have a choice to accept or reject, guys do not, because they have already made their choice well enough to begin with, when guys are accepted, they have to keep to their promises and to their words to the gurls but lets just say another guy come in the picture, now the guy would obviously get jealous, or else there must be something wrong, now the guy would feel insecure because lets just say you have fried rice on monday, it tastes so good, how about fried rice on tuesday, it still tastes good, how about wednesday and so on so forth till you have fried rice everyday, won't you feel bored? i bet you will, same goes for a relationship, this may not be true but it happens, the gurls may get bored of all those words that you used to say or those talks you used to give that they may find another guy amusing, this is where jealousy comes in, it's because the guy feels that he's being threatened, he has to win back her heart and not loose it to some other guy, that's where the gurl has to remember all those good times she spent with the guy and how much the guy has done for her despite the arguments and give him the assurance that she loves him so much and would not fall for another. you see girls, to guys, they'd feel so touched when their gurlfriend suddenly comes up to them, give them a big hug, a big kiss and say that they love them so much. it means so much to them. guys do the same too for your girlfriend. they'd be really touched as well. that would turn that bad day you had to a wonderful day. everything happens for a reason, true and i agree, but in my opinion, that reason that comes out of everyday is based on the actions that you portray everyday, i just watched this show called Evan Almighty and they mentioned, An Act of Random Kindness, ARK for short, would really change a person's day, or maybe a person's life, so try to start sending those messages, to your friends, family, loved ones, start saying those boosting words to your collegues and friends, start looking at people's kindness for looking at their kindness you're actually being kind, start opening your heart for giving is an act of sincerity and not hesitation, open your mind for the ones who may not seem that they need may neeed, and most of all, have that spirit of giving in you, learn to give and not earn, for even the slightest time you give to someone means so much to a person, and that time may turn gold to you, you'll never know, as someone once told me, "God works in mysterious ways" so yup, have a very happy and Merry Christmas. by the way, the story above was not a true story but it's a combination of daily life events. it's made up, so you can call it...
A Fairytale...
Hope this post gives the readers and people out there that boost in the spirit of giving for this coming Christmas for there are lots who want to celebrate a good christmas as you do too. Spread that joy and be there for them as they have always been there for you. =)
